McMillan Island, Fort Langley

Surrey Classics play at McMillan Island which is a small (approximate 2 square km.) island in the Fraser River, opposite Fort Langley, British Columbia. It is the main reserve of the Kwantlen First Nation (Stó:lo people). They traditionally speak the Upriver dialect of Halkomelem, one of the Salishan family of languages of the Coast Salish peoples. The nation's population is about 170 people. The field in the Kwantlen First Nation Park on McMillan Island. Turn first right into the field after crossing the bridge onto the island after passing the Fort Langley Pub (on the left).

Please drive slowly when entering and leaving the field.
